Principal's Welcome
On behalf of the children, parents, staff and Trust I would like to thank you for taking the opportunity to learn more about our Academy.
We are a large vibrant outstanding school which delivers a world-class education for all our pupils. We are passionate about ensuring that your child is safe and well looked after, learning daily and making great progress across the curriculum and having as much fun as they can along the way!
Our outstanding teaching ensures that our children are achieving academic excellence. Our pupils experience an exciting curriculum and are provided with many opportunities to learn in different ways. At The Arbours Primary Academy, we teach a carefully sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum which aims to inspire pupils and promote outstanding outcomes for all. We provide a large range of enrichment opportunities for all children in order to broaden their experiences and to build their aspirations.
Our children benefit from curriculum enrichment through visits, visitors and ‘WOW’ events such as whole school poetry days, art days and learning which is too exciting to resist. All our staff work collaboratively to ensure that children are taught well and are able to demonstrate our values of aspiration, ambition, courage and respect.
Our aim is that all the children who come to The Arbours Primary Academy are happy and successful. We recognise that each child is unique and that developing their talents and abilities as well as their self-esteem is the best way to prepare children for success in the future.
We hold a breakfast club every morning form 8am for £2 per child per day. Spaces will need to be booked in advance via the MCAS app. Please ask the office for more information.
We received an 'Outstanding' OFSTED grade following an Inspection in July 2023
'The school is an extremely vibrant and enjoyable place to be. Pupils are very well behaved and are caring towards each other. They are proud of their school and work their hardest. They have a clear understanding of how to stay safe.'
