Breakfast Club

The Arbours Academy hold a breakfast club every morning from 8am for £2 per child per day, offering healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons.

Here at The Arbours Academy we are committed to ensure that no child is too hungry to learn.

Spaces for breakfast club will need to be booked in advance via the MCAS app.

Children must arrive between 8am and 8.20am if they wish to have breakfast, arrivals later than this may join the club but may not be provided with breakfast. There will no be entry to Breakfast club after 8.30am.

Lunches

Lunches are provided by Caterlink and are well balanced, nutritious and delicious.

School lunches are booked through My Child At School (MCAS), please see the school office if you do not have a log in for MCAS. Lunches will need to be ordered by midnight on Tuesday for the following week.

Alternatively, your child can bring a packed lunch to school. please ensure that this is in line with our Healthy Eating Policy and not contain sweets or fizzy drinks.

Please can all parents/ carers remember that no nuts or nutty products are to be included in your child's packed lunches, snacks, or treats. This will help us minimize the risk of accidental exposure to nuts and ensure the well-being of all students.

Sometimes children will refuse to eat the dinner that has been ordered for them. We will, of course, encourage your child to eat their dinner (or packed lunch) but we cannot force them.  We will talk to your child's teacher so they can let you know about their refusal. Sometimes we may call you to let you know as well, if we feel it is becoming a regular problem.
